STATEMENT
Oral Deforestation highlights my struggle with a presumably instinctive urge to use, consume and waste. While offering a mere cosmetic resolve to core ecological issues, this piece also demonstrates the absurdity of half hearted environmental revolutions within myself and our economy.

ACTIONS
Lay atop a bed of soil, surrounded by cups of Gatorade and soda. Use plastic tubes to siphon liquid out of cup and into mouth. Expel liquid from mouth through tube connected to plant. REPEAT.
