Baroque Power Group IndieGogo Campaign UPDATE

5/30/2015

The Baroque Power Group is raising money to offset the cost of renting premier gallery space in NYC's Lower East Side for our Graduate Thesis exhibitions in July 2015. We want the broadest, most plugged-in audience to see our work when we present it this summer, and we're calling on the support of our community to help us pay for space to show in Manhattan.

The Baroque Power Group consists of Hovey Brock, JD Raenbeau,  Alexandra Hammond and of course, me! Our work deals with issues of identity, ritual, utopia and the body.

We are so fortunate to have made our $5000 goal within one week of our campaign being live!!! Now we work toward an $11,000 REACH GOAL. Truth be told, $11K is the total cost for our month long space rental. Please continue spreading the word for this campaign and if you are able, please donate.

With tremendous gratitude,
Quinn

So many updates for 2013!

I have been working for months on re-designing my site and I am delighted to share my new online identity with you! 2013 has been an incredibly busy year. I have attempted  to re-cap as much as possible below.

In February 2013, I began working closely with Jill McDermid, director and co-founder of Grace Exhibition Space, to organize their first benefit event. During the benefit we also introduced GES reMembership option. All very exciting additions to the ambitious programming already instituted by Jill.

I edited the teaser video for the event and Keller created the epic score.

In March 2013, we kicked off the inaugural dB Visual Artist Series at Dungeon Beach. The incredibly innovative artists, Blake Carrington and Matthew Farina presented their work as a part of the first series.

In May 2013, I began preparing the design media, marketing and PR needed for Grace Exhibition Space's exciting programming for the first annual Brooklyn International Performance Art Festival (BIPAF).

In JULY 2013, GES presented international performance artists every Friday evening. Guillermo Gomez Pena, Ron Athey, VestAndPage, W Christiawan and Rocio Boliver were among a few of the performers throughout the month.

JUNE-AUGUST 2013

I have included a few images of studio doings from the summer session in case you're curious...
